Adding spice to your day: HIS LIFE IN YOU

Text: “And this is the record that God hath given us eternal life, and this life is in his son. He that hath the son hath life....” 1 John 5:11-12

A record is a documentation of series of events that took place. You don’t record what did not happen. God has given us eternal life. This is what the record of heaven says. It not something that will happen when we get to heaven. We have eternal life already. I want you to note that eternal life is not the same as “long life” or life forever. Eternal life simply means the life of God. 1 John 5:13 says “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life...” “...THAT YE MAY KNOW...” Many of us don’t know; some are working very hard to have eternal life. There is nothing you can do in the natural to have eternal life. God has given us his very life. What an awesome privilege that we have. We can boldly say today that the life of God is in us. What we have is not just the human life; we have the God life; Partakers of the divine nature.

The life of God is superior to failure. The life is God is superior to sickness. The life of God is beyond every curse. It’s high time we become so conscious of the life of God inside us. We are not limited to the human life. We have a higher life available to us.

We function with the life of God as we consciously acknowledge the life of God in us and we begin to declare it so over our lives. I heard the testimony of a dear daughter of Zion. She became terribly sick; at a point she began to ask God to take her life. God spoke back to her that it was impossible for her to die. The Spirit of God ministered to her that she had declared life over herself for so long and that will not allow her to die. She was told that for her to die she will have to start declaring death over herself for a period. This is how it works. You have to start declaring life over your body, life over your family, life over your business etc.

PRAYER:
I declare in the name of Jesus that the life of God is working in me and functioning through me.
