Text: “...Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God...But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption.” 1 Corinthians 1:24, 30
Christianity is not about following a set of rules and regulations.
It’s not even about changing our way of life. Changing a way of life does not
necessarily translate to been a believer. Every religion of this word
encourages change in behaviour one way or another. Christianity is solely
defined by “...Christ in you...” Colosians 1:27. Nothing more and nothing less. It’s
not been nice that makes someone a believer; it’s having Christ in us. When we
receive Christ his presence in us produces every change we can think of. It’s a
change from the inside out and not outside in.
Christ himself is the wisdom of God. The wisdom of God is personified
in Christ. Christ is the embodiment of wisdom and knowledge. His presence in us
is supposed to produce extraordinary living. We should never get to a point in
our lives when we don’t know what else to do. The wisdom of God creates
solutions and answers in the midst of life uncertainties. Every one of us must
relate very closely with this truth as we navigate through the journey of life.
This is why as a believer you should never say that you are confused; it’s
contrary to the wisdom of God at work in you. I agree that there are times when
you will feel confused; but we live by faith not by our feelings. We must learn
never to agree with our feelings. The word of God is the eternal truth that we
must agree with.
The wisdom of God inside us is expressed as we interact closely
with the word of God. The word of God is the wisdom of God in the written form.
As the word of God takes root in our hearts the wisdom of God will begin to
find expression. Taking time to pray consistently in the Spirit will also
enhance the flow of God’s wisdom in our lives. You don’t have to look far to
connect to God’s wisdom. Wisdom is inside you.
CONFESSION:
I live by the word of
God. I make the word of God the final authority over my life today and forever.
