Adding Spice to your day: TAKING ADVANTAGE OF SEASONS - PART ONE

Text: “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. ”Ecclesiastes 3:1

The scriptures talks about the children of Issachar that had the understanding of times to know what Israel ought to do (1 Chronicles 12:32).  The understanding of the times is so crucial in life. Seasons in our anchor scripture simply means time interval in nature. This is basically how God has designed things to work. In the natural we have the spring, summer, autumn and winter. This are four (4) parts of the year when something particular happens.
We can also have other descriptions of seasons like planting season which is a time when farmers go to the farm to plant their crops. We also have the harvesting season depending on the crop in question. Farmers generally have a good understanding of seasons.

All we have said so far apply closely with our lives. There are certain things that should happen at certain seasons of our lives. Seasons are usually a time space where certain things are easily done and accomplished. It’s so important for every one of us to take advantage of the different seasons of our lives and not waste them. The season of our lives will be different from one person to another in many ways. This is why each person must recognise their seasons.

When a farmer plants a crop at a wrong season he will have to struggle and work harder to see the plant do well. In many cases life struggles are things done in wrong seasons of life. If a teenager gets into a relationship at a wrong season there will be some levels of struggling with it. It may end up with a heart break. Knowing the seasons of our lives is not so much a function of looking at the clock but a function of walking closely with God. It’s not just enough to do the right thing; it’s should be done at the right season.

PRAYER:
In the name of Jesus I declare that my life is lined up with the right seasons of life.
