POSSESS MIND THROUGH THE POWER OF IMAGINATION

Text Genesis 11:1-6

If all we could think about in life is to eat and live for the next day, there wouldn’t have been need to imagine the unimaginable or think the unthinkable. And the reason for why God make us co-creator would have been defeated.

Understand what you don’t imagine, you can’t possess. When you read the account in Genesis 11:4,6. You will notice that these men know they have inherent power (gift of imagination) to create the world they wanted in order to change the circumstances surround them. What they possessed in mind become reality and was gradually becoming tangible before God had to intervene in the situation. Reality is not tangible, it means true though you can’t see it with your optical eyes but you have it existing somewhere. But why was it possible for them to achieve that, because they had already created it in their spirit world. Creation is done in your spirit (Inherent gift of imagination).

We don’t have to stay with the status quo when we find ourselves in an unpleasant environment, as children of the most high God we imagine and possess through faith to see our vision deliver absolutely. Though there’s need of patient when we have imagine and possess all in our spirit yet our expectation is still not tangible, also bear in mind patient has expiry date – Psalm 30:5, 2Corinthians 4:17; 10:4-6, if it exceed a moment means we need to contend with our enemies. We are meant to effect change, but the application of this knowledge in our everyday life lies our challenge. Ecclesiastes 10:15, Hosea 4:6.

God has blessed us with the special gift of imaginative power and it’s our responsibility to activate the gift and to maximize it. Man is the only being that can imagine unlike angels and animals don’t imagine. God need our imagination to bless us – Genesis 13:16; 15:6, Romans – 4:18. What do you want to see change? How do you want your world to look like? How do you want your family to be? It’s up to you.
Have the picture in your mind and brood over it. Let it fill your mind, and allow the Holy Spirit help you by visualizing your imagination with declaration of God’s word. But know that it may not come overnight – Genesis 2:4-6,9. But continue to water the seed you’ve sown – Ecclesiastes 11:4,6. Don’t water wrongly by complaining and murmuring, quite complaining and start watering your clouds (with positive words) – Ecclesiastes 11:3; the word of God would certainly prosper in that to which it has been sent. You must continue to brood over those dreams and desires until you can speak the word that will bring them to pass. God Himself had to create the world in the spirit and saw it was good before He began to speak the word that will bring those things to existence.

ONE OF THE WAYS IMAGINATION BECOMES TANGIBLE

1.     The intent of your heart must be right with God. 1 Chronicles 28:9, Proverbs 6:18. If your imagination is to dupe or have evil imagination against someone, to destroy someone achievement due to jealousy, God will never allow it manifest.

2.     Through Affirmation. A possess mind with God‘s word makes your imagination become a reality, but with faith engaged is the magnetic force that brings it to tangible that you can feel and touch it. There’s no faith without the power of imagination. It is this gift that gives rise to faith

3.     Use your mouth. Coarse people to assist you in that dream or vision you have imagine in your spirit.
