Psalm 103:13-14, Luke19:41-44,
1Chronicles 12:32, Ecclesiastes 9:11
What you
don’t have understanding of cannot be beneficial to you. It takes a proper
understanding of the set time of favour to enjoy divine favour. Your ability to
discern the time, brings you in the realm of divine favour. "I return, and saw under the sun, that the
race is not for the swift, nor the time battle to the strong, neither yet bread
to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of
skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. Ecclesiastes 9:11". Time
is an integral part of eternity. The Hebrew word that translated eternity is bin,it means
to be cunning, diligently, eloquent, have intelligence, a primitive root to
separate mentally or distinguish.
The Hebrew word that
translated the TIME and the SET TIME are et and moed respectively.
Et – means: NOW, WHEN, AFTER, ALWAYS, CERTAIN, CONTINUALLY,
SO LONG AS, (DUE SEASON), etc.,and
Moed – means: APPOINTED
TIME, FIXED TIME, OR DUE SEASON, AT AN APPOINTED, PLACE ASSEMBLY.
Et and Moed joined together, meaning the Appointed Time, Fixed Time, or Due Season is now and continues as long as you have a proper understanding of the time and season of divine favour .
Et and Moed joined together, meaning the Appointed Time, Fixed Time, or Due Season is now and continues as long as you have a proper understanding of the time and season of divine favour .
Divine
favour is not as a result of your Skill, Swiftness, Ability, Strength or
muscles, etc., but as a result of your understanding of the time and season of
divine favour. Jesus wept
over Jerusalem because they did not understand the time of their visitation
- Luke
19:41-44. Job was troubled because he did not discern the time. He never
knew he was in safety, so he became afraid and evil came upon him. Job 3:25-26. Every divine appointment
ends up in divine favour. You cannot keep appointment with God and be kicked
out of divine favour.
FACTOR THAT ENHANCES YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF THE TIME OF FAVOUR
1. Engage the spirit of revelation and
knowledge. 1Corinthians 2:9-12, Ephesians 1:17-20, Colossians 1:9-12.
Understand that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of revelation. There are things
that accompany salvation – Hebrew 6:9.
They have been freely given to us, but it takes the Holy Spirit to reveal them
to us(1 Cor.2:10-12). Until our eyes are open unto them, we can’t partake or
take delivery of them; favour inclusive. Every blessing of God is fulfilled in
Christ. 2Corinthians 1:20. It is the
Holy Spirit that reveals them to us. No wonder Apostle Paul always pray for his
converts that they may be filled with the spirit of wisdom and revelation and
knowledge.
2. You must have discernment of the
spirit. Psalm 102:13.
You must have the ability to know that it is your time to be divinely favoured.
It is your responsibility to recognize and understand the hour we are in. “If a
car that has security system can detect an intruder, how much more you that
have the Holy Spirit”. Discernment of spirit means – supernatural ability to
know, recognize or understand the hidden things supernaturally. Your spirit man
must be trained and tuned well to receive divine signals at all times.
3. By deep study of the word – Daniel
9:2, 2Timothy 2:5, John 1:8. The word makes the simple wise – 2Timothy 3:15,
Psalm 19:7. God’s
plans and purpose are in His book, accessing the book (Bible) is accessing His
plans and purpose for your life. It takes wisdom to understand what is written
concerning you in His book – Daniel
12:10, but the wise shall understand. And God’s word is a carrier of divine
favour.
Difference
between Daniel’s era of captivity and Moses’ era of slavery in Egypt is that,
Daniel had deep understanding of the time appointed for their release from
captivity through study (He prayed), but Moses did not have such understanding (and
he fought) which led to additional 30 years in Egypt.
4. Always be at the appointed place – Psalm
102:13. Moses saw God’s face at the appointed place. Exodus 33:21-22. Jesus was transfigured at the appointed place. Matthew 17:1-2. You must always be in
Zion (Church), for the LORD has commanded His blessings now and forever in
Zion. Psalm 133:3. Every appointment
has an appointed place that is the meeting point. You can’t be at the appointed
place and miss your blessings, when you are in a wrong place, God cannot meet
you with His favour there. Abraham was
asked by God to leave his country unto a place appointed by God for an
encounter with divine blessings – Genesis
12:1-3. If you are in a place that is polluted, arise and depart to your
appointed place and God will surely meet you there. Micha 2:10.It’s your season of divine favour and you will not miss it, in
Jesus’ name.
GOD BLESS YOU
