WORD HARVEST

Text: “A sower went to sow his seed...the seed is the word of God.” Luke 8:5, 11

Jesus clearly explained to us in the parable of the sower that the seed is the word of God. This clearly shows us that words are seeds, and that what you sow is what you reap. If you sow the right words into your life and future, they’ll produce the right harvest.

Jesus said you shall have what you say (Mark 11:23). You can’t keep speaking negatively and expect to have an excellent life. If you have seen where a house is been built before you will notice that the material used will determine the quality of the house that is built. A house built with grasses can never be as strong and beautiful as one built with bricks. Your words are important; the quality of your words will determine the quality of your life and your future. Your words are literally creating a future for you.

Proverbs 15:4 Says “A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.” A wholesome tongue is one that speaks life, health, righteousness, possibilities and abundance. Perverseness, on the other hand, means crookedness; inconsistent and contrary words that deform and destroy the human spirit. Every time you speak words that are not consistent with the word of God it produces a damaging effect in our spirit. This is why you must consistently talk right. Speak forth the blessed word of God over your life and all that has to do with you. The harvest of those words sown overtime will be waiting for you in the future. Your words give direction to your life. Your life will go in the direction of what you are automatically saying. If your words are excellent your life will be excellent; if your words are positive or negative your life will go in the same direction. Your future will not be a coincidence; it will be a harvest of your words today. Speak only words that are consistent with a future you desire.

PRAYER:
My life is a product of God’s grace. Grace is working in me. My future is lined up with possibilities.
